At the time of Cinema
I lived for a time when words
history, emotion, nostalgia, pleasure became ideologically suspect. This was a time of depression, despair and finally, thankfully, revolt against the lecturing, the censors who wanted to help indoctrinated to love what they loved twenty years earlier and then they denied with alarming vehemence. That's when I discovered the film by Daniel Schmid. Hey, you could redo the frame images without dogma ... Born in Switzerland, he loved Berlin, divas, opera, Paris, butoh theater, the cinema of Fassbinder and his sublime landscapes of Grisons. Aesthete demanding, he understood that if the cinema - like the opera - Died he could still shoot his body and he wanted beautiful. He did so by artist name. Through his work, he taught my generation an exit to escape the dogmatism that fill * the creation and the authors feel guilty. He was one of those very few who have brought out the body of the film we barracks in restoring the ideological
pleasure to see.
